LOTTA WENNÄKOSKI

(b. 1970)

Lotta Wennäkoski is the artistic director of the Tampere Biennale contemporary music festival. Her style is often described as lyrical, yet having sharp edge. She is renowned for her vocal and chamber music, but has also written for larger line-ups, including a full symphony orchestra. Her Uusinta publications consist entirely of chamber music.
